Can you brief us the interview process?

The first round which was online round which was hosted on Co-Cubes platform and consisted of basic Aptitude and coding questions. Once shortlisted for the interview process, technical rounds are face-to-face rounds focused on my logical and reasoning abilities, projects I have done and conceptual knowledge of core technical subjects. Finally the last round was more like a one-to-one conversation where I was asked about my family background, my hobbies, and other similar personality questions.

Can you give us a brief account of what you felt was the toughest question asked in your interview?

I will not say the toughest but the most interesting question was actually the first question that was asked during my interview process. It was a time-distance puzzle that doesn’t require any formula or mathematical calculations but is actually based on my analysis of the whole scenario presented. It seemed difficult at first but then with the help of the hints from the interviewer I answered it and eventually enjoyed the process of solving that puzzle.

What was your preparation strategy?

I read online the interview experience of candidates selected for the similar profile at adobe and it gave me an understanding of the interview process. I made sure that I am confident about what I had mentioned in my resume, revised the concepts of core engineering subjects and the programming language I am proficient in.

What kind of skills do you think helped you getting this job?

I believe honesty, technical competency, logical thinking, problem-solving attitude, and willingness to learn and acquire new skills have actually helped me getting this job.

What resources did you consult? Where did you practice problems from?

I brushed up the technical knowledge that I had acquired. Be it the understanding of programming language , knowledge of core subjects like OS, data structures, and DBMS, and the technical skills gained from trainings and internships. Majorly I referred GeeksForGeeks and Hackerrank to practise problems.

Did you do competitive coding? If yes, what role it played in your selection?

Yes, I do but not regularly. I think the understanding of optimized approach to solve different types of coding problems has helped me in the selection process.
